A Personal Statement Of Being Inducted To The National Honor Society

NHS Personal Declaration

I would be honored to be inducted into National Honor Society. I have proven my commitment to working hard throughout my high school years. Because I am an academically accomplished, volunteer reliable, and uphold moral principles, I think I would make a great member of the National Honor Society.

My academic success is the result of my consistent hard work, maintaining high grades and taking AP and honors classes. When I have questions, I ask them. I do my homework and complete all assignments. I also prepare for my exams. I make sure that I do more than the minimum to ensure I am ready for every quiz and test. I have been successful in academic pursuits. My desire to go above and beyond in order to achieve my academic goals demonstrates my academic initiative.Throughout my years at the high school, I have sacrificed my personal time to volunteer in the community. I have spent over 100 hours volunteering at Sunrise Senior Living Center. I managed many activities and helped to organize them. Volunteering at the centre taught me about leadership and the importance to delegate responsibilities. I was also given the opportunity to volunteer at booths for International Education Week, clean out lockers, and promote Unicef’s message.

In addition to my work hard at school and in community volunteer work, I uphold strong moral principles. I am able to help people understand concepts I have helped. I do not cheat on tests or quizzes and I never plagiarize in essays. I adhere to the rules and avoid cheating. I also learn from my mistakes to prevent them from happening again. My willingness learn from my mistakes has shown my desire to grow and improve. I let people know the possible consequences of doing something morally demeaning if I ever see them. I can also learn from my peers who are caught making bad choices.

My skills and abilities serve me well in school, but they also work in real life. The values that I have developed reflect my eagerness to play an active part in making the community a better place. As a community member, my duty is to give back and lead by example. My determination to make the world a better place is evident in my willingness to work hard and my positive outlook. I’m proud to be a National Honor Society member.
